I don’t know about you, but my favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle was always Michelangelo. Finally, with this app I can live out my dream of swinging the nunchucks just like my pink-masked hero. This game allows you to use a virtual pair of nunchucks complete with sound effects. You can swing them, click the chains together and finally, strike.

This app made me laugh with its hilarious sound effects. When you first get started all you can do is make the chains clink together meekly. However, once you get into the swing of things, figuratively, by snapping the phone forward, you hear not only the sound of the nunchucks whirling quickly but also the sound of “you” hollering and your enemies getting beat up.

Okay, so this app will never be a substitute for real life nunchucks. The control is very awkward since it’s not the easiest thing to spin a rectangular object while holding it very awkwardly in one hand. However it is good for when you need to make a strong point during a business meeting or tell potential assailants that hey, you mean business.

There are no options or menu items to speak of. Just turn on the iPhone, launch the app and start swinging. You will have to physically exit to app by pushing the iPhone’s home button to get off of the nunchucks screen. Unlike real nunchucks, these are safe for travel. You can take them in your carry on and still be meeting FAA guidelines.
