This app is meant for all the aspiring magicians out there. It was created to supplement the good old “I can guess your card” trick with a matching image on the iPhone. The user is supposed to perform the trick with a regular deck of cards and then tap his or her iPhone for the big reveal at the end. The phone will actually show an image of the card the audience member picked, giving the trick some technological flair.
There are several options available for the user by going into the iPhone’s setting menu. You can choose the suit and value for the card, whether it appears with a touch or with a double click and how quick the animation moves from blank screen or background to the card’s image.

The app has a tutorial video that explains how to do the trick which you can reach from the home screen. However, it wasn’t very in depth at explaining how to make the trick entertaining for the audience. In fact, it wasn’t even written in understandable English, but I could follow along thanks to the graphics and eventually the video images, which were pretty good.
I was able to duplicate the trick shown in the video tutorial without difficulty, but the group I showed it to did not find it to be particularly good. The fact that the app only demonstrates one trick is more than a little disappointing. I would instead read a book on magic and then add the app into the mix for any number of tricks that require a card reveal at the end.
